He approves of Tilson’s answer to Mrs. White and hopes that it will put an end to her “troubling.” Bishop DeCharms has been assisting Pendleton in organizing the upcoming General Assembly in London; Pendleton passed Tilson’s requests regarding music along to DeCharms as he is arranging the services. Pendleton has received Tilson’s letters of May 23rd and 29th with an enclosed exchange between Tilson and Rev. W. H. Claxton.
